Kyukotoh Workspace

Kyukotoh explores the meeting point between Japanese restraint and Indian warmth. Designed for a Japanese organisation, the workplace seeks to create a contemporary environment that reflects cultural identity without resorting to literal interpretations.The design language draws from principles of simplicity, balance, precision and attention to detail, while responding to the warmth and social nature of an Indian workplace. Rather than treating the two cultures as separate visual references, the project looks for moments where they can coexist naturally. Materiality, proportion and spatial rhythm guide the experience throughout the office. The result is a calm and refined workplace where two distinct cultural sensibilities find a shared contemporary language—globally rooted yet locally relevant.
